During the 2018-2019 school year, the Cupertino Union School District worked closely with stakeholder groups (parents, community members, staff, and students) to develop a long-range strategic plan that clarifies our vision for students and goals and priorities for CUSD. We engaged stakeholders in developing a plan that articulates the community’s aspirations for all students. The District and school leaders worked together to gather thoughts and input.
The District engagement process began in the fall of 2018. In a variety of settings, stakeholders explored questions related to the knowledge, skills, and “habits of mind” students need to become lifelong learners and contributors. Stakeholder input is valued and essential as we formulated our collective goals and aspirations for all students.
Following each engagement series, a Strategic Planning Steering Committee synthesized all information collected and supported the District team with recommendations.
